All members are invited to join us at our Annual Meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at our Friendship office, located at 401 E Lake St. This will be a business-only meeting. Registration will begin at 4:00 p.m. with the meeting beginning at 5:00 p.m. More details to come in future issues of The Wire.

Districts 4, 6, and 7 are up for election in 2026
If you are a full-time resident in one of these districts, you may have the opportunity to represent your fellow co-op members on our board of directors. The townships for each district are below.

How to Run for a Board Seat:
Our bylaws state that nominations for directors shall be by petition. A petition shall be signed by not less than 25 members and be delivered to our Friendship office 90 days prior to the Annual Meeting. The deadline to submit nomination papers for the 2026 Annual Meeting is February 13, 2026. If you’re interested in running for a board seat, call (800) 831-8629.

In October, we ran a promotion to encourage members to participate in our co-op programs. In return, members were entered to win a prize. Thank you to everyone who participates in our programs! Below are the winners for each category:

How can one person help make their community better? By voluntarily rounding up your electric bill and contributing a few cents every month, you can help support local charities, organizations, and families in your community. In 2025 alone, the Operation Round-Up board of directors awarded $55,223.65 in grants. We need your support to continue funding projects for organizations and families in need.
How you can help:
Your participation in Operation Round-Up allows us to continue funding for our local fire departments, safe playgrounds, equipment for organizations, and other community groups.
