Consent of Property Owner When Member is Not The Property Owner

Thank you for submitting the three required forms to sign up for prepaid billing. If you indicated on the last form that you are the property owner, you do not have to complete the form below and a member of our customer service team will be in contact with you to enroll you for prepaid billing at your electric service.

Notice to Members Regarding Property Owner Consent for Prepaid Electric Service

By participating in Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative’s Prepaid Electric Service Program, the participating member acknowledges and agrees that their electric service will be subject to remote disconnection without prior notice when the member’s Prepaid Program account balance reaches zero ($0.00), and reconnection may take up to two (2) hours after payments have been posted to the member’s Prepaid Program account. Participation in the Prepaid Program requires the consent of the property owner of the location where the participating member receives electric service. Consent does not create any responsibility for a property owner who is not the member enrolled in the Prepaid Program to pay any Prepaid Program balance.

I consent to tenant participation in Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative’s Prepaid Electric Service program for electric service at the location identified above. Furthermore, I agree to hold Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative including its officers and employees harmless for injury or damages arising from disconnection of electric service under the Prepaid Program.
