10 A.M. – 1 P.M.
Join us on Saturday, October 9 at Adams-Friendship High School for a day of fun and exercise. This free event is for everyone, so spread the word to your family and friends! Because this is a free event to attend, we ask that attendees please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to Central Wisconsin Community Action Council’s (CWCAC) food pantry.
Registration is only needed if you want to participate in the 5K. All ages are welcome. Registration is available until August 27.
Order a t-shirt to wear the day of the event for $15. From every sale, $5 will be donated to Central Wisconsin Community Action Council’s food pantry in Friendship. T-shirts must be pre-ordered and can be picked up the day of the event.
10:00 A.M. – 5K Check-In
Please go to the small parking lot near the front of the building to get your race tags and to begin lining up for the 5K.
10:30 A.M. – Race Begins
Make sure your shoes are tied tight and get ready to go! We’ll have the 5K route marked for you and a water station about half way through the route at ACEC. Please keep safety in mind and to use caution when crossing the road. We’ll have a few cross guards to direct everyone.
11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. – Post-5K Fun
After you cross the finish line, we’ll have water and snacks ready for you. Stick around after the 5K to grab a bite to eat, food will be available for purchase from a variety of food trucks (Jose’s, Rocky Rococo’s, Redneck BBQ, and Any Street Grill), listen to live music from country cover band Genesee Depot, bring the kids to get an airbrush or henna tattoo, and watch our hotline demonstration.
