Important Phone Numbers to Remember
There are now only two toll-free telephone numbers you need to know to contact Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative.
Call 1-800-831-8629 for all Regular Business
ACEC members are encouraged to use this toll-free number for all of their regular cooperative business. During regular work hours, this number will put you in touch with a Customer Service Representative (CSR). The CSR will assist you personally, answer your questions and provide helpful information.
ACEC members will get the fastest response by calling during regular business hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. Please keep in mind that only one employee is available to answer telephone calls after regular business hours. This business line should not be used to report power outages.

Calling this toll-free number will put ACEC members in touch with our Interactive Voice Response system (IVR), an automated answering system. The IVR will help you experience fewer busy signals and provide important outage information.
The IVR takes outage information from many customers and efficiently gives it to a dispatcher. It allows dispatcher to focus on getting lineworkers to outage sites and gives customers the assurance their outage is being addressed. The IVR works fastest when your "local" telephone number is recorded into its data bank. It's also best to call the IVR from a touchtone telephone and to have your ACEC account number handy. The IVR telephone number cannot be used to conduct regular cooperative business.
